An evening of observing from the “power station” site on Mauna Kea was interrupted by some high thin clouds and a lightning storm over Hilo. Some still frames from the storm are below. The Beehive cluster can be seen rising out of the clouds about half way in to the movie and an orange Mars emerges right at the end.
