These images were actually taken on Kitt Peak National Observatory's 36 inch telescope using their 64 mega-pixel MOSAIC camera. I was on an observing run, and for the last few minutes of the night, all my targets had set, so I snapped a few frames of the M97 & M108 pairing (which fits nicely into MOSAIC's 55 arcminute FOV on the 36 inch).
