The Barnard 92 (right) and 93 (left) dark clouds in the Small Sagittarius Star Cloud. E.E. Barnard cataloged these two objects in his remarkable “A Photographic Atlas of Selected Regions of the Milky Way” which was published in 1927. This region is featured prominently on Plate 31 of the atlas.
